She wanted to thank her friends and family for their support and that she had every intention of sharing her princely sum with them to show her gratitude.

McNamara vacated her home and moved in to the Cork Hotel to avoid the media while she worked through what she was going to do. To win Dolores had to match five numbers from a pool of 50 plus two more from a pool of nine. To be part of the biggest win ever, Dolores had to beat the odds of one in 76.2 million in the EuroMillions Lottery.
